Repairs and Services

Motorola products are durable and dependable, but we realize that things happen and sometimes your equipment needs some extra attention.  Whether it’s just a “check-up” or a full refurbishment, we can meet your needs.  Using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and the expertise of factory trained technicians, Moss Communications offers fast turnaround on repairs for our always low prices.  Whether you bring your equipment in for a one-time repair or have an Annual Maintenance Agreement, you will always receive professional-grade repairs, quick diagnostic information and estimates, and excellent personal service.

Technicians at Moss Communications are authorized to repair all Motorola portable radios, mobile radios, base stations, repeaters, and chargers using only new Motorola parts.  We also repair Kenwood, Maxon, and Vertex equipment.

One-Time Repairs

Moss Communications has the ability and resources to repair equipment from anywhere in the US  If you do not have one of our Annual Maintenance Agreements, but you still need a repair done right, we can do it!  Just follow these easy steps so that we can get started on getting your equipment “back in action”.  We offer multiple ways to get your service request started so you can choose what is most convenient for you.

1. Print out our online form, fill it out and send it in with your radio.  Those using this online method will receive a 10% discount on your diagnostic fee and repair.  A technician will call you with the diagnosis and an estimate.
2. Call us at 800-822-6677 and ask for a service technician to discuss your issue and instructions on how to go about processing your service request.
3. If you’re local, print out our Online Repair Form and drop your equipment at the office for a diagnostic, a service technician will call you with the diagnosis and estimate. 

As always, feel welcome to call our Service Department with any questions you may have at 800-822-6677.  Moss Communications is an Authorized Motorola Warranty Repair Service Center, so if your equipment and/or parts are under warranty, we’ve got you covered!

Programming and Licensing

Moss Communications sales and service departments have everything you need to program your new radios, re-program your existing radios, or obtain FCC licensing. 

Radios purchased from Moss Communications include lifetime programming at no cost.  Just another reason to look to our sales website iLoveRadios.com for all your communications purchases.  Programming your existing equipment, not purchased from Moss Communications, is still a low fee of $20 for the first radio and $5 for every additional radio.
